About the play:

Welcome to Scare Fried XVII: Taste of Terrors! A hauntingly terrific spread of seven short plays exploring the weird, the mysterious, and the bone-chilling spooks in Tāmaki Makaurau.

Featuring six original short plays all connected by our framework piece, we have a mixture of genres on the table. From slapstick comedy and musicals, to horror-sci-fi and noir. As the name states, you will definitely leave with a Taste of Terror!

Every year, Stir Fried provides a risk-free platform for theatre lovers to experiment and debut their work as upcoming artists. Many of our writers, directors, actors, and crew are stepping into their roles for the first time. And for the past 17 years, Stray has provided a platform to celebrate these amazing works! Audiences can expect a unique, high-energy mix of stories that promise to surprise, entertain, and leave you wishing for more!
