About the play
If you were told the world would end tonight, who would you call? What do you have left to say? In Last Call a web of characters face the end of the world which couldn’t seem more mundane. If nothing else, this is a great time to get things off their chests. What would be worse—dying with something still left to say? Or living past all your final confessions?
"This script wonderfully explores the reality of this question [What would you do at the end of the world?]. How interpersonal relationships build up and break down when faced with the end of the world. How we allow ourselves to be entirely honest in our last moments."
- Director River Lancaster
"With this play, I wanted to challenge myself with a complex web of characters, multiple locations, and down-to-earth dialogue . . . this is my first go around behind the scenes. It’s been fascinating to see the other side of theatre."
- Playwright Ollie Vahey Bourne
