The Straymies 2025: Prizegiving & Masquerade Ball

Date: Wednesday 22nd October Time: 6:30 pm doors open | 7:00 pm Awards Start Location: The Tuning Fork, 42/80 Mahuhu Crescent, Parnell, Auckland 1010 Please nominate someone for any of the following awards. Please give as much specific detail as you can on why you think someone is deserving to win. Stray’s Advisory Panel made up of past exec and honorary life members will be our judging panel. PLEASE NOTE: You may only nominate individuals for awards rather than groups! There is only one trophy per award. If you would like to nominate multiple people for the same award, please indicate them with either 1,2,3 OR with bullet points. Awards as follows. Please read the criteria carefully. Unsung Hero Award - for someone you think deserves a little more recognition for their role in a Stray show, they may have knocked your socks off with a cameo performance, or gone above and beyond to support the show in some way Stray Socialite Award - someone who has put themselves out there and attended most or all social events and workshops in 2025 Spirit of Stray Award - for someone who is always uplifting the atmosphere of the room and is involved in Stray in any way Stand Out Performance of the Year (Cast) - For any cast member whose performance in a Stray show in 2025 absolutely wowed you Stand Out Performance of the Year (Crew) - For any crew member whose performance in a Stray show in 2025 absolutely wowed you Rookie of the Year (Cast Member) - A cast member who performed in their first Stray show this year and did an outstanding job Rookie of the Year (Crew Member) - A crew member who did their first crew role in a Stray show this year and did an outstanding job Saviour of Stray Award - Someone who was not initially involved with a show/ event but came to the aid of Stray when things looked dire Stray All-rounder - A person who has excelled in multiple different positions across different stray shows in 2025 Nominations will close 11:59pm Wednesday 15th October.
