About the event
In an “ideal” world, what do husbands and wives look like, think like, and do? It’s increasingly obvious that the “ideal” is in the eye of the beholder, but in the pursuit of love and loyalty, how far will we go to meet the impossible standards of those we care about?
Sir Robert does all he can to be Lady Gertrude’s ideal husband in the face of her perilous standards. He is her ivory tower, her shining knight, her steadfast oak, placed on a pedestal for all to see. With schemes and secrets abound and the oak’s rotten heart revealed, will the wife take an axe to her husband’s reputation?
Director Hunter Easterbrook invites you to witness Oscar Wilde’s An Ideal Husband in loud, colourful spectacle like never before!
